            Alex sat at his desk in the dim light of a little lamp. He sat there humming, almost singing, waiting for an idea to pop into his head. Ex just sat on the other side of the room minding his own business, because he too was thinking. Alex looked up at the ceiling and bit on the eraser at the end of his pencil for a couple minutes.         Alex and Athena walked side by side the next day at school. As they walked though the hall, everyone stared at Alex like he was a ghost or a wanted criminal. Athena suddenly got this hostile look on her face. She grabbed one of the cheerleaders by the back of the neck and shouted "Why is everyone staring at Alex like this?! Tell me you little maggot!", The cheerleader screamed and tried to squirm out of her grasp, but Athena was way too strong.
